Fabrication Division - Incorporating Surface Protection

 

CNC profile capability in plasma and oxy propane cutting of ferrous and non - ferrous metals from light gauge material to heavy plate. Main bed size = 9m x 3m

Break pressing up to 400 tonne capacity to maximum 4m width using manual or CNC controlled operation.

Rolling capacity up to 3m wide plate sections x 16mm in 250 grade. Thicker plates can be rolled in narrower widths.

High quality welding in several processes are available using qualified operators, including metallic arc, manual arc, submerged arc and TIG. Qualified weld procedures are available in a range of joint configurations, materials and material thicknesses, covering plate, sections and piping.

Fabrication experience covering a huge range of items from simple components to complete and complex manufactured items.

Grit Blasting facilities include a blasting chamber 3.2m high x 3.5m wide x 13.5m long plus a Granowski Wheelabrator capable of handling items 3m wide x 1m thick x 12m long. Both undercover and outside areas are available for large or odd shaped items using garnett or copper slag blasting mediums.

Undercover industrial surface protection services are provided using skilled and experienced operators. In house quality control equipment is used to measure climatic conditions prior to application of coatings and calibrated electronic measuring equipment is used to verify the dry film thicknesses achieved. Computer printouts are available to the customer as requested to satisfy quality assurance requirements.
