As a natural extension of in house facilities and resources,
TEC now offers Contract Maintenance and Labour Hire services to industry.
This division grew from customer demand for access to the resource of experienced
personnel employed on a full time basis by TEC. This demand fitted well with our
desire to encourage our apprentices to gain external experience and confidence
following completion of their formal training.
TEC manages to retain a high percentage of apprentices where opportunities exist
within the business and this division complements our training systems by
presenting personnel the opportunity of exposure to a variety of other industries.
Contract Maintenance:
Contract Maintenance services are currently being delivered in various forms
to a number of local Tasmanian industries.
This division is able to service customer needs for routine maintenance and
service works and may extend to include maintenance planning and preventative
maintenance regimes depending on our customers requirements.
TEC has very strong purchasing and expediting power as our procurement office
handles purchasing both in house and for associated companies.
Purchasing services are offered to our customers at invoiced cost plus a small margin.
TEC contract maintenance services may be complemented by the full range of
TEC workshop facilities including Tas Crane services as required.
